Public transport quality classes
Description
This data set describes the quality classes of access by public transport according to the description in the cantonal indicative plan (M3.1) and the extended definition of the transport department (from timetable year 2014/2015). The quality classes are originally based on the no longer valid VSS standard SN 640 290. **Means of transport** Each stop (1 point per stop) is assigned a means of transport {train node, train, bus}. Railway junctions are Aarau, Baden, Brugg, Lenzburg, Zofingen (and Dietikon). **Number of departures and course interval** Departures are counted per stop on one working day. Only departures between 06:00 and 20:00 in the main load direction are counted. The course interval is calculated from the average number of departures per hour. **Stop category and quality class** The stop category {I-VII} is determined by the type of transport and the course interval.
