Historical municipal boundaries Overijssel
Description
With this file, the municipal layout of Overijssel can be displayed for several years. The current municipalities of Urk and Noordoostpolder were part of Overijssel in the periods 1950 and 1962 to 1986 respectively and have therefore also been included. Part of Staphorst was transferred to Meppel (Drenthe) in 1962. Part of Gorssel (Gelderland) joined Deventer in 1999. There may have been smaller boundary changes that are not included in the file. Despite the greatly improved precision, it is advised that the file is not used as a map layer under scale 1:25000.
