Description
This project has been undertaken by the BioMar team at Newcastle University on behalf of Scottish Natural Heritage and the work will contribute to the BioMar programme of research into the development of techniques for marine biotope mapping being developed in collaboration with the country agencies and the JNCC. The aims of this project were to carry out a broad scale habitat survey of the Berwickshire coast to obtain data on the types and distribution of biotopes present for the littoral and sublittoral zones. The level of retail required to be presented was approximately equivalent to Phase 1.
