Description
The Federal Law on Forests (Waldgesetz, WaG) stipulates in Article 13 that the forest must be defined in relation to the zones of use by means of a forest determination and the enforcing demarcation must be entered in the plans of use. New stockings outside these forest boundaries are not considered as forest (-> static forest boundary). If utilisation plans are revised or adapted and the actual circumstances have changed significantly, these forest boundaries can be reviewed and adapted in the forest verification process.
