Population projection of the Helsinki metropolitan area by region

Population of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area by age by region on 31 December and population projection for the coming years. Until the 2019-2034 forecast, the population statistics date was 1.1.

The population projections for Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa have been prepared by the cities themselves. Kauniainen's forecast is prepared by Statistics Finland.

The dataset includes areas with at least 100 inhabitants. If less than 100 inhabitants live in the area, the data is encrypted (the cell value is two points). If there is only one such region in the statistical region, the population of the region has been added together with the neighbouring region.

If the cell value is one point, it means that the area in question has not been included in the district distribution system in the relevant reference year.
