Aerial pictures — digital orthophotos of the city of Braunschweig from the photo flight 2020
Description
In a digital flight on 18 March 2020, hundreds of individual images were taken vertically from an aircraft. The high-resolution images were digitally equalised and precisely assembled using GPS data. This aerial mosaic of the urban area can be superimposed with maps. It is possible to measure routes and calculate areas on it. In a lower resolution, the Department of Geoinformation presents these aerial images in the city map of the city’s website of the city of Braunschweig.
