Assessment of potential water erosion risk in accordance with Annex 2 of the Agricultural Payments Obligations Ordinance (Cross Compliance) — Basic Grid
Description
The map shows the assessment of the potential water erosion hazard in the 12.5 m grid.
The assessment of the potential water erosion risk is based on Annex 2 of the Agricultural Payments Obligations Ordinance (AgrarPayVerpflV) by linking
soil type (using soil erosion factor K as a measure for the erosion susceptibility of a soil species); and
B) slope inclination or relief (using the slope inclination factor S) and
C) Regenerosivity (Regenerosivity factor R).
The basis for this approach is the DIN regulation 19708 (soil condition — determination of the erosion hazard of soils by water with the help of ABAG).
By multiplying K-, S- and R-factor (K*S*R*2), a value for the potential water erosion hazard is calculated for each grid cell (12.5 m *12.5 m).
