Wall Plants

Description

Canal walls, quay walls, bridges, locks and ground are examined every two years for the presence of wall plants by the KNNV wall plant work group. The focus of the inventory is on Flora and Faunawet Protected Plants, a number of attention species are also mapped out. Although these species are not legally protected, they do define Amsterdam’s canal walls.
