Average annual temperature (Co)
Description
The map Average annual temperature (Co), belongs to a group of thematic maps based on agroclimatic variables called Characterization or Agroclimatic Information.
The annual average temperature map corresponds to a model of the average annual temperatures represented through a hyposometric ink map, in which each region of Spain is characterized according to the average annual temperature it reaches. This information is produced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food using geostatistical interpolation (kriging) methods from data from 1803 stations belonging to the network of the former National Meteorological Institute (current State Meteorological Agency – AEMET).
