Property Inventory OGD

Description

The property inventory OGD covers all land and buildings that are owned by the city of Zurich with the exception of the streets and squares (public land). In addition, important rights (rights of way, etc.) are included. By the municipal vote of 27 September 2020, the financial competences for the acquisition of real estate were re-regulated (sub-revision of municipal regulations, entry into force on 1 July 2021). At the same time, in Article 14bis Financial Budget Ordinance (AS 611.101), the Municipal Council laid down new information and documentation obligations in connection with the acquisition and allocation of urban properties. These include, among other things, the ongoing update of a publicly available geodata-based property inventory, including information on asset allocation. **Purpose**: The inventory serves the city of Zurich, real estate, managing, buying and selling land and buildings. The inventory serves the services of the City of Zurich as a basis for the internal administrative tasks as well as the public as information on urban property. The dataset does not contain financial values.
