Wine vine in Germany 2010
Description
In 2007-2009 a national survey took place for the first time with the recording of rebengenetic resources in Germany, which recorded the exact quantity ratios of the grape varieties of the different wine-growing regions. On the basis of grid cells in the size of 10 km x 10 km, the number of grape varieties cultivated in the vine is shown. Similarly, the number of recorded stock number of vine per raster cell is included in the data.
The survey was funded by the BLE with funds from the BMEL. The results of the collection of rebengenetic resources in Germany were published in 2010 and form the basis of Deutsche Genbank Reben, which is an essential toolkit for securing rebengenetic resources in Germany.
