Human Health and Safety/Strategic Noise Maps for the metropolitan area of Potsdam 2012
Description
The interoperable INSPIRE dataset provides an overview of the isophone maps in the agglomeration of Potsdam in accordance with Directive 2002/49/EC (Environmental Noise Directive). This calls on EU Member States to assess and combat environmental noise. As a result, until 30 June 2007 under 1. Develop strategic noise maps. These must be revised and updated in a five-year turnus. The data at issue include the 2. Stage of EU Noise Mapping (2012). The isophone cards are for 1. Road traffic noise, 2. Industrial and commercial noise and 3. Rail traffic noise (tram only) provided.
There was a schema transformation into the INSPIRE target scheme Health and Safety. The dataset is the basis of the interoperable INSPIRE representation (WMS) and download services (WFS):
