MSFD: D5 eutrophication - data - maximum coverage (sh-lkn)

Description

These spatial data include the following eutrophication parameters from 1994: maximum coverage of seagrass or green algae and are relevant for MSFD descriptor 5 in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park. The data are collected as part of the Trilateral Macrophyte Monitoring Programme (TMAP) by means of aircraft mapping. Of the three mappings, this dataset only outputs the data of a flight per year with the highest degree of coverage. The coverage level is given in 2 density classes of the closed stocks. The identification of the areas is only possible from about 20% coverage. The data was merged into a database based on individual shapes. Similar, but differing, mappings from 1989 and 1990 are available in the context of ecosystem research in Schleswig-Holstein's Wadden Sea.
