Sanitary spring protection area
Description
Health spring protection areas may be designated in the catchment area of health springs for their special protection. These are recorded, reported and updated in accordance with § 53 WHG and § 45 WG. They consist of different therapeutic spring protection zones (QSG zones), which can be classified according to qualitative or quantitative aspects.

From the QSG zones, the healing spring protection area is formed as an enclosure. Differentiation is made according to fixed, provisionally ordered and non-fixed areas. The database published on the Internet contains the legally established and provisionally ordered medicinal spring protection areas in Baden-Württemberg.
The official property cadastre information system (ALKIS) serves as the basis for recording the geometry data.
