I phase county plan for South Ostrobothnia

Description

The I phase county plan for South Ostrobothnia deals with wind power. The plan complements the existing regional plans by pointing out 23 areas for wind turbines, a transmission line network and an area important for biodiversity. The phase county plan was confirmed by the Ministry of the Environment on 31 October 2016. On 30 November 2017, the Korkein hallinto-oikeus (Supreme Administrative Court) issued a decision on appeals relating to the adoption of the provincial plan I, rejecting all the appeals. The plan has been announced to enter into force under Section 201 of the MRL already in connection with the confirmation decision of the Ministry of the Environment. The scale of the formula is 1:250 000 and the data is suitable for general analysis.
