Mapping of Lorient Agglomeration lane ends
Description
As part of the operation of its Geographical Information System, based on Intergraph products (Hexagon AB), the GIS Mission of Lorient Agglomeration wanted to finalise the implementation of its network of channels type BD Voies Adresses, throughout its territory for use for different applications.
These data will constitute a very useful database of references to the services and municipalities of Lorient Agglomeration. The uses will be diverse:
* Integration into the GIS (Base PostGIS);
* Use in the Intranet, Extranet, Lorient Agglomeration website;
* For business applications;
* Realisation of city plans etc.
Lorient Agglomeration has a “paths” repository. It is a wireline (cuts) and punctuals that allow at least:
* Identification of track axes (denomination, domaniality,...),
* Unique ID;
* The assessment of the line of pathways;
* Addresses
* Annotation of path names.
**Collection context**
For this service, the databases available are of different origins and of different qualities: the cadastre labeled DGFiP, an ORTHO 2010 at 20 cm, and different layers of data made internally.

**Collection method**
Regarding the geometry and geography of the graphic data, the reference frame to be preferred will be the cadastre (except in case of significant difference with the ortho, which in this case will be priority), because this background is widely used for all other applications. However, in addition (parcellar not clear, non-existent path to the cadastre, access straps, turnarounds,...), we will favour ortho for the geometry of the axes because it better reflects the real occupation of the right-of-way on the ground. But having several sources will generally be an interesting element to ensure a very good level of completeness (do not forget anything) and will also serve for the expected information.
