Oceanographic observations - Marine environmental data
Description
The data consists of marine environmental data from marine environmental monitoring and is available from 1893 onwards. Data is produced within the framework of Coordinated Swedish Environmental Monitoring, which is funded by the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management.
The following physical and chemical parameters can be obtained: Temperature, salinity, density, pH, alkalinity, oxygen content, oxygen saturation, hydrogen sulphide, phosphate, total phosphorus, nitrite, nitrate, ammonium, total nitrogen, silicon, particulate organic nitrogen (PON), particulate organic carbon (POC), dissolved organic carbon (DOC), total organic carbon (TOC), humus, current direction, current velocity, lignin, yellow matter (CDOM), aluminium, urea, chlorophyll-a (discrete samples), visibility depth and low resolution CTD data.
The following marine biological parameters can be obtained: soft-bottomed fauna (zoobenthos), vegetated bottoms (epibenthos, including macrophytes), animal, plant and bacterial plankton, chlorophyll content (integrated sample), primary production, sedimentation, ringed seal, grey seal and harbour seal, and seal pathology;
