Obsolescence Dialogue 2021: Business models for the longer use of clothing.
Description
The clothing and fashion industry is characterized by early obsolescence and fast production cycles. For this reason, it is particularly useful to collect and provide more information on the offers that counteract the disposal of clothing. The following report presents the results of an exploratory study on the potential of business models that contribute to the extension of the use and service life of clothing. The results of the study were discussed among stakeholders of the Austrian textile landscape as part of the 2022 online textile dialogue.
