Description

Population growth during 2015 was 4.6 units per 1,000 inhabitants. A major component of population growth is net migration of 2.7‰. Natural growth, equal to 1.9‰, is confirmed at the highest levels among the Italian regions. The Total Fertility Rate, which expresses the average number of children per woman, is 1.6 children per woman (1.4 at national level).
