Temperature top Westfalian D
Description
With the cross-border Interreg project "GEOHEAT-APP", VITO, Grontmij and TNO wanted to check the concrete feasibility of (deep) geothermal systems in the border region Flanders-Netherlands. One speaks of deep geothermal energy when the heat is extracted from layers deeper than 500 m. This map is a grid map (grid) representing the temperature (°C) of the summit of the Westphalian D reservoir in cells of 250m by 250m.
