Moorlands in Lower Saxony 1: 200000 to Schneekloth et al. 1970-1983

Description

In the years between 1970 and 1983 Heinrich Schneekloth and other authors describe in eight volumes Lower Saxony’s moor areas from a size of 200 m in diameter. The map is used for the easy orientation and location of the described moor areas. Each moor area or subdivision shall contain a unique number with which the area is assigned to a description. The extent and width of the peat may have been altered by peat extraction, by use-related processes or cultivation measures. The analog maps digitised here for the Report Parts 1 to 7 are available on a scale of 1:400.000 and for Report 8 (South Lower Saxony) in a scale of 1:500.000.
