Description
Green ribbons are those parts of the road villages where the statue is dominated by a combination of road planting and pendulum gardens, which give the road village a green character. One sometimes speaks of a tunnel forest. Slingertuinen are gardens in English landscape style, which appear as a front garden for monumental farms in East Groningen, Central Groningen and Northeast Groningen. Parts of road villages where these plantations are present are indicated on Map 6a of the Environmental Regulation. This file is linked to the stock of monumental heirs of Copijn carried out in Northeast Groningen, the inventory of farmyards in the Oldambt and the other heirs with pendulum gardens inventoried by Landschapsbeheer Groningen.
