Sample data Result - Business Intelligence Tool for Road Maintenance Management Strategies (BITS)

Description

The data set includes concrete results of the Business Intelligence Tool for Renovation Strategies (BITS) for the maintenance management of urban roads on the basis of municipal road condition data in the city of Fürth (districts of Burgfarrnbach and Unterfarrnbach). BITS is a research project funded by Ing Plus AG as part of the innovation initiative mFUND of the BMDV. The aim is the automated evaluation of existing road condition data for intra-local road networks and the determination of the best possible remediation strategies in various variants. As part of the project, a model was developed that links the input data and possible remediation measures and makes the results available in a business intelligence tool. With this tool, individual parameters can be taken into account and the selection of suitable remediation strategies can be controlled.
