Environmental vision - Wind energy excluded
Description
The (new) installation of wind turbines is not permitted within this scope on the basis of legal guidelines and / or on the basis of the provincial goals. The province does not allow the installation of wind turbines within these areas and will not cooperate in spatial planning for this purpose. This file is built on the basis of: Resting areas for winter geese, meadow bird areas, open fields and exclusion on legal grounds. This file was adopted by the Provincial Council on 19 December 2018.
The map layers of wind energy from the environmental vision are a technical approach with which possibilities and limitations for wind energy have been mapped. After going through a participatory process and administrative coordination, search areas for wind energy have been included in the first version of the Regional Energy Strategies (RES1.0, 2021).
The information about wind in the environmental vision has now been overtaken by the RES
