Personal Information Banks (PIB)
Description
The Privacy Act requires federal institutions to describe in PIBs all the personal information under their control that is being used for an administrative purpose. This dataset is the descriptions of personal information collections published by federal institutions and contains information on: the kind of information collected and for what purpose, who the information pertains to, other consistent uses for this information and, how long the information will be kept by the institution. This dataset reflects published PIB descriptions as of February 2020.
