Aquitain Coast: Crude hydrolink deposit (Arcachon Basin, velocities>1.5 m/s, mean tide of white water, coefficient 95)
Description
Location of the hydrolink deposit (on the Arcachon Basin, areas with velocities greater than 1.5 m/s, average over a tide of white waters, coefficient 95) established as part of the regional assessment study of the offshore energy deposit of the Aquitaine façade.
The study area comprises the entire Aquitaine maritime façade of the boundaries with the Poitou-Charentes region in the north to the Spanish border in the south and extends up to 12 nautical miles (limits of territorial waters approximately 22.2 km). It includes:
— The whole estuary of the Gironde,
— The Garonne to Podensac,
— The Dordogne up to Libourne,
— The basin of Arcachon,
— The Adour to its confluence with the Gaves Reunited
