Description
Dataset for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Energy Transition 2022 adopted by the Provincial Executive on 4 October 2022. This is a plan-m.e.r. belonging to the Revision of Environmental Policy module Energy Transition that was adopted by the Provincial Council on 14 December 2022.
The aim of this EIA is to provide insight into the environmental effects of the integration of future development of wind and solar energy within the search areas from the Regional Energy Strategy (RES) 1.0 so that these can be weighed when determining the draft policy module Energy Transition.
The alternatives show how the objective can be implemented in different ways within the search areas. Alternative 4: feasible and affordable (grid capacity) has been set up to investigate what the interpretation of the search areas looks like when optimizing from the perspective of the electricity network.
