Group Layer Human Health — Bioclimatic Stress
Description
The group layer “Bioclimatic Load” comprises three maps: the bioclimate map, the cold stimulus and the heat load. The maps were calculated on the basis of long-term measurement data from the German Weather Service (DWD). For the reference period 1981-2010, the maps show the expected frequency of heat exposure in the summer half-year and cold stimulus in the winter half-year as individual values as well as in the bioclimate map.
