Industry; production and sales, index 2010=100, ‘05 January —’18 September
Description
This table provides information on the development of industrial production and turnover (excluding construction), SBI 2008 section B — E. The data are further subdivided by branches according to CBS’s Standard Business Classification (SBI) 2008. The development is represented by indices and as a percentage change from the same period in the previous year. In addition, seasonally adjusted and average day developments have also been included for sales and production. By cleaning the monthly results for seasonal and working day effects, month on month developments can be compared without disturbing seasonal and working day effects. As a result, all months can be compared directly with each other and the underlying trend development can also be monitored more easily.
Data available from January 2005 to September 2018.
Status of the figures:
The data from 2005 to 2017 are final. The 2018 data is provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
