Industry; stock of finished products, index 2015=100, 2012-2023
Description
This table shows the index and the development of the stock of finished products in the industrial sector, indicated by the code Section C according to the Standard Business Classification 2008 (SBI 2008) of Statistics Netherlands (CBS). The figures in this table come from a monthly survey of stock developments at industrial companies. Not all industrial companies participate in the study. Some SBIs in industry are not observed. Also, data is only collected from industrial companies with at least 50 employees.
The index describes the volume of stock at prices in the base period (2015=100).
The development of the stock is shown with percentage changes compared to the same period the year before.
Data available: January 2012 to December 2023.

The stock indices for the five most recent months are provisional. Since this table has been discontinued, the figures are no longer definitive.
