Retail trade; turnover development, index 2015=100 2005-2023
Description
This table contains figures on turnover and volume developments in the retail sector. The figures can be broken down by branch according to the Standard Business Classification (SBI 2008) of Statistics Netherlands. The development is shown as a percentage change compared to a previous period and by means of indices with the base year 2015.
Turnover and volume developments are published in two forms. First of all, as year-on-year developments in which growth compared to the same period in the previous year is central. These figures are presented unadjusted and shopping-day-adjusted. The second form concerns period-on-period developments, for example quarter-on-quarter. Period-on-period developments are possible by applying seasonal adjustment.
Data available from January 2005 to December 2023.
