Semantic dictionary of digital criminal proceedings

Description

The Criminal Semantic Dictionary published below is part of the ambition of the Digital Criminal Procedure programme to support the documentary exchange between the various actors in digital criminal proceedings, including the Ministries of Justice and Interior through a common data structure. Digital criminal proceedings consist of procedural documents in PDF/A3 format, including an XML file containing source data from the PDF/A document. The semantic dictionary defines the XML structure of those procedural documents and consists of: - XSD files to validate the correct format of XML files, - a description in an Excel file of the different tags. The common beacon model defines the standard structural elements (Persons, Actors, Facts, Offences...) of the criminal procedure documents that can be taken from room to room. In each standard structural element, the degree of detail of the necessary information varies according to the parts concerned. As a result, no element is mandatory a priori in the dictionary apart from identifiers.
