Description
The information disclosed by the Directorate-General for Administration and Public Employment (DGAEP) in the Dataset Employees in Public Administration refers to total employment in the general government employment sector for all quarters from 2019-03-31 to the most recent quarter of the current year (provisional figure for the last quarter) as disclosed in the Public Employment Statistics Synthesis (SIEP) by DGAEP. The public employment data disclosed are collected through the Information System of the State Organization (SIOE) of DGAEP for the universe of entities that make up the general government sector from the perspective of national accounting. The total employed population at national level is obtained from the Employment Survey published by the National Institute of Statistics, IP (INE, IP), as applied in SIEP to calculate indicators relating to the employed population.
