Geological 3D model of the Altenberg-Teplice-Caldera (ATC)
Description
The geological model represents the sequence of geological rock layers of the area around the Altenberg-Teplice Caldera in a 3 dimensional space. This makes the spread of geological rock layers visible in the underground. The geological model is a basic model, i.e. only the main general structures from the pre-cambrium to the chalk are depicted, but without the inclusion of geological disturbances. The model was processed in a cross-border cooperation with the Czech Geological Service (CGS) and was created as a GOCAD model in version 2013/2.
