REDIAM. WMS HIC 9320 Forests of Olea and/or Ceratonia
Description
WMS service corresponding to Habitat of Non-Priority Community Interest 9320, which groups together the thermo-Mediterranean or thermo-canary forests in which the arborescent species Olea europaea subsp. sylvestris, Ceratonia siliqua, Pistacia lentiscus, Myrtus communis predominate or, in the Canary Islands, Olea europaea subsp. cerasiformis and Pistacia atlantica. The original definition differentiates three groups, of which only one is present in Andalusia, from which it has been proposed to differentiate 2 subtypes, one for stalking generally on bujeos, thermophilic forests, sclerophiles, characterized by stalking (Olea europea var. sylvestris), typical of vertic soils, and another for stalking-carobs on limestone, forests or groves of carob trees (Ceratonia siliqua) or carob trees and stalks, on limestone substrates in generally rocky environments, in warm and dry areas, which it has been proposed to treat as a priority for our community.
