DATA - Wetlands Database 2008 CIGAL v1 (BdZDH2008-CIGAL-V1) - Alsace

Description

The geographical database of predominantly wetland areas was produced by photo-interpretation of the Ortho IGN comic book (a 2007 cover on the Alsace Region, a 2004 cover on the Parc des Vosges du Nord and one from 2001 to 2003 on the Parc des Ballons des Vosges) and SPOT5 images (two complete covers, one dating from seven/oct 2007 and the other from March/May 2008) throughout the study area (Région Alsace, Parc Naturel Régional des Vosges du Nord and Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges). The study area represents a total area of approximately 10,842 km2, the total area of interpreted ZDH is 2,380 km2. The right-of-way of the BDZDH for the Alsace Region is 1953 km2.
