Description
The orthophotography 1997/98 CIGAL consists of a mosaic of digital images (raster), alone (without cladding or overloading) in color, and indication of georeferencing. It is produced by IGN. It results from analog aerial shots dating from the summer of 1997 (department of Haut-Rhin) and the summer of 1998 (department of Bas-Rhin), scanned and orthorectified in projection Lambert II extended then assembled. It covers the whole of Alsace (1997 in the Haut-Rhin department and 1998 in the Bas-Rhin department). The resolution of the image (pixel size) is 50cm. The data is in the form of slabs of 1km2 (uncompressed TIFF file of about 12MB). the limits of right of way of the slabs are round km in extended Lambert II. All the slabs contained or intersecting the surface corresponding to the boundary of the department of the BD CARTO IGN 2002 are fully available.
