DATA - Land cover database CIGAL 2011/2012 v2 (BdOCS20112012-CIGAL v2) - Alsace

Description

The geographical database of land cover CIGAL 20112012 v2 is the result of the update of the soil occuaption database CIGAL 2008 v2 carried out by photointerpretation on the Alsace region at level 3 and 4 of nomenclature. The thematic and geometric reference images are the CIGAL orthophotos of resolution 20cm of 2011 for the Bas-Rhin and 2012 for the Haut-Rhin. The creation of BdOCS20112012-CIGAL v2 builds on the existing limitations of BdOCS2008-CIGAL v2. Only the contours and/or codes of the land use change zones between the two dates have been changed. This dataset was produced to enable optimal exploitation at a scale of 1/10,000. The study area covers an area of 8330 km2 and covers Alsace. The information layers have also been generalised and are available for use at 1/50 000th (level 2 of the nomenclature) and 1/250 000th (level 1 of the nomenclature).
