For each ‘Museum of France’, the following are indicated, in particular: the official name, postal and Internet addresses, telephone number, geolocation information, a brief history of the museum and its collections, the main themes of the collections...
The directory is accessible on the Open Heritage Platform.
The data of the Muséofile database are linked to those of the bases Joconde, collective catalog of the collections of the museums of France, and Mérimée.
