Libraries of local and regional authorities: addresses and activity data of Troyes Champagne Métropole

Description

Data from local and regional authorities’ libraries as at 31/12/2022. This dataset gathers the addresses of municipal, inter-municipal and departmental libraries, as well as the indicators for ‘Surface’, ‘Time range’, ‘Number of employees’ and ‘Number of volunteers’ for 2022. The information available in this dataset comes from the annual statistical survey conducted by the Book and Reading Department of the Ministry of Culture for the year in question, in partnership with departmental libraries. Gaps may remain. For the ‘Surface’ indicator, the unit is the square metre. The amplitude of hours shall be equal to the usual number of weekly opening hours of the place of reading. It should be noted that following the change in the model for collecting data on library activities in 2020, some indicators can be filled in at reading site or network level. This is the case for the fields ‘Number of employees’ and ‘Number of volunteers’.
