Pollution: monitoring of domestic flows

Description

Domestic pollution flows are calculated as part of the collection of domestic pollution charges. These flows are calculated either by a real and regular monitoring system for collective treatment plants above a certain threshold defined by the regulations. Before any summary by administrative division (Region, Department, etc.), it should be noted that the geographical area of intervention of the Water Agency is based on a hydrographic division of the national territory. Some regions or departments are therefore only partially covered by the data managed by the Water Agency. **A significant break in the calculation of indicators is to be noted from 2008, the year of the implementation of the Law on Water and Aquatic Environments (LEMA – 30 December 2006)**. Data prior to 2008 are presented in the form of technical indicators varying over time, the analysis of which to determine the impact on the environment is left to the users of these data. Data after or equal to 2008, on the other hand, are presented in a more synthetic and systematic way with the input and output values of the station for each parameter followed. Data on these domestic flows are described in the attached dictionary, which is available as a spreadsheet. The list of fields is presented as well as lists of values specific to certain data and which make it possible to explain the codifications used in the data. **Data is in UTF-8 format where each field is separated by a semicolon and enclosed by quotation marks for "text" fields.**
