Drought alert zones of Troyes Champagne Métropole
Description
An alert zone is a coherent hydrological or hydrogeological unit for which the administration may prescribe restrictive measures. This area can be anything
or part of a sub-basin and its accompanying aquifer, all or part of a body of groundwater or a group of bodies of groundwater. The delimitation of alert zones must
take into account existing means of monitoring to allow for appropriate monitoring and establish trigger conditions. The arrangements for defining alert zones are set out in Article R.211-67 of the EC.
