Description

The waste water treatment system is a work of depollution of waste water by various processes: biological, physico-chemical ... located on a continuous and homogeneous geographical space. It is urban, industrial or mixed depending on the nature of the contracting authority. More concretely, whatever the configurations, a treatment plant is the entire geographical area "delimited by the fence" containing a set of civil engineering buildings equipped with equipment and belonging to a single contracting authority. The wastewater treatment system includes the wastewater treatment plant and the weir at the head of the plant (the structure of the treatment system that allows all or part of the effluent that arrives at the plant to be derived). The overall constructor of the treatment plant is the corporate name of the main construction company that built the treatment plant. When several companies have been involved in the construction of the treatment plant, it is the one that has carried out the most important part of the work that will be retained. When a wastewater treatment plant has been the subject of several work programmes, it is the last main builder that is taken into account.
