These data on the number of operators, areas and herds come from the annual checks that the approved certifying bodies carry out on farms and processing companies engaged in organic distribution. **Geographical precision**: The data are aggregated at municipal level: Insee code of the municipality of the site of activity or in the absence of the head office. **Following the text of the fields**: **Operator data**: Number of operators per municipality, or failing that by postal code. All operators are located by their postal code, almost all by the municipality of their head office **BioActivity**: P: producers (including producers with another activity: processing on the farm, farm shop...) T: processors or restaurants (including processors with another activity: transformers-distributors or transformers-importers) D: distributors (including distributors with an import activity: distributor-importers...)
