Description
The color gradation represents the water depths occurring in the floodfall for a 100-year flood (HQ100) in five classes. By presenting the water depths, differentiated statements can be made about how strongly different areas are affected by the floods. From this it can be deduced, for example, from when a certain area is only accessible with an all-terrain vehicle or by boat. Areas where no water depths have been identified shall be marked as ‘unidentified’. Unidentified water depths are rare (e.g. in the area of dams). For the estimation of the risk of flooding, the water depth is not important here.
