Description
The color graduation represents the water depths that occur in the flood fall for a 100-year flood (HQ100) in five classes. By describing the depths of water, differentiated statements can be made about how much different areas are affected by floods. From this it can be deduced, for example, from when a particular area is only accessible by an off-road vehicle or by boat. Areas where no depths of water have been detected are marked as “not determined”. Undetermined water depths occur only rarely (e.g. in the area of dams). The water depth here is not important for the estimation of the flood risk.
