Regional state of conservation of species in Brittany

Description

The assessment of the regional conservation status of a species differs from the other two regional assessments: the risk of extinction (red lists) and the responsibility of Brittany. Indeed, the assessment of the state of conservation positions the current state of health of a species with a reference situation. **Sources:** The observational data that enabled these evaluations were acquired for the most part by volunteer networks organised around naturalist associations such as BV-Sepnb, GMB, Gretia, LPO, VivArmor Nature or the CBN Brest, BGM, departmental federations of fishing or hunting, etc. Evaluation by regional flora observatories, led by the EPO (2017) and validated by the CSRPN. **Notes:** The method used follows the MNHN Methodological Guide. The taxa assessed are those for which the biogeographic information is most complete, including vertebrates.
