Description
Wetlands (swamps, wet meadows, lagoons, peatlands), ecosystems between land and water, are an exceptional heritage because of their biological richness and the natural functions they perform. They are home to many plant and animal species. Through their various functions, they play an essential role in the purification and prevention of floods, the regulation of water resources, etc.
The Atlantic Marsh Forum manages the network that maps wetlands inventoried by its members and partners as well as related data (water, environment, stakeholders,...).
