Priority and sensitive catchments of the Seine-Normandie basin
Description
The long-term preservation of the water resource used for drinking water supply has been identified as a priority objective.
One of the actions taken to meet this objective is to ensure the protection of the supply area of 500 catchments most threatened by diffuse pollution, an objective enshrined in the Grenelle I Act of 3 August 2009.
This list of priority catchments was completed following the environmental conference in September 2013 (229 new catchments in Seine-Normandie comprising 329 sampling points).
The list of catchments declared as priority and/or sensitive is made available by DRIEAT.
