Description
Classification of the state area of Baden-Württemberg into square areas according to the map sheets of the overview map 1:500.000. The leaf section divisions available in the RIPS pool are available as vectors. For example, they can be used as orientation and navigation aids. The name (number, name) and the respective year of issue are included as factual information. Please note the following information on the completeness and quality of the data provided: due to inaccuracies in the acquisition of technical objects, there are occasional non-valid geometries according to OGC Schema validation. Since GIS servers such as ArcGIS server, GeoServer or UMN MapServer have to use/process ever more accurate data bases, the inspection routine is always further developed and warns in the tolerance range as well as in the topological recording of inaccuracies (e.g. by third-party software). This means that geometries can no longer be displayed or recorded. The objected geometry errors include self-intersections (self-intersections) or double bases. Therefore, the LUBW cannot guarantee the completeness and stability of the Download Service (WFS). If necessary, please check the completeness on the basis of the presentation services also offered (WMS).
